HUnter Finlay

Head of Business Development / Answerer of Questions at Klugonyx

I have been working at Klugonyx for the last 2 years helping people understand the process of product development & manufacturing. I have worked in sales for many years in many separate industries and avenues. During this time I have realized that the idea and process of sales is less about convincing a potential or current client to do something, but more about ensuring that whatever decisions they make will result in the longterm success of their business. This might mean that I can’t help, or that there are indeed better avenues to proceed with than whatever service I can provide. This is okay, and I have no problem letting my clients know this. Honesty is the best policy in my line of work.  I work my hardest to ensure that the expectations and priorities of a client align with the service that Klugonyx provides from the very beginning of a project to the very end. I am a socialite and a problem solver. You have a question? I have an answer.

Jason Klug

Jason Klug - CEO of Klugonyx / Co-founder of Dorai Home / Mechanical Engineer

I was born in Wisconsin and grew up in Georgia after moving around the Midwest a bit, and finally landed in Salt Lake City, Utah. I studied Mechanical Engineering but decided to drop out in his senior year; I didn't want to keep taking classes just for a piece of paper and I felt I needed to do something more. I've always enjoyed understanding how things are made naturally so I knew the process of creating something from the ground up would be a career I would never get bored of. Plus, there's good money in all layers of creating, (as a service, creating your own products, helping others create theirs, etc.) so it just felt right to me. Thus, I became engrossed in all things entrepreneurism and product development. I then moved to Utah and got a gig selling and developing tablet and iPad enclosures. That company eventually sold and I soon started Klugonyx out of my 1-bedroom apartment. It was a full-service product development "firm" at the time, and it's been the core of everything in my career thus far. Now, I have a team of designers, engineers, and management in the U.S. including an office in China with PMs, QC managers, and customer support. With these resources, we're not only serving customers but we're creating our own brands within Klugonyx, (such as Dorai Home, an eco-chic, sustainable home goods company). Our future is set up to serve more people and companies by helping them develop and manufacture products while starting more brands on the side. I want to build something big and I've never deviated from the goals I set when I started Klugonyx.
